Since I am an unconditional lover of magic, I was fascinated with all the photos, the scenery, the props, the children. Everything was magical and I imagined it to be so because it was a fashion production for a magazine. I decided to find out a bit more about this Mario and in doing so I realized that the performances of this magician from New Yorker always happen in phenomenal handcrafted scenarios, full of delicious details. Acabou-se a Páscoa, os coelhos voltaram às suas tocas e dos ovos de chocolate só sobraram alguns pedaços e com eles sugiro que façam uma maravilhosa mousse de chocolate. Como já não há coelhos e eu não gosto da ideia de não haver animais à minha volta, fui procura substitutos à altura. Encontrei raposinhas ou a hipótese fenomenal de transformar meninas em raposinhas, o que é uma ideia igualmente adorável. A máscara que encontrei é da Lucille Michieli, mas há mais por aí e igualmente deliciosas. E enquanto procurava animaizinhos, encontrei imensas roupas adoráveis. Roupas e acessórios muito apropriados a meninas ou a raposinhas. Mostro duas peças, porque não me apeteceu nada carregar uma mala de imagem bonitas. A culpa é da preguiça, que chega sempre a seguir a alguns dias sem fazer nada.
Easter has come to its end, the rabbits have returned to their holes and I imagine that the beautiful chocolate eggs have transformed themselves into little pieces of chocolate, which all together may be enough for one last wonderful chocolate mousse. As there are no rabbits left and I do not like the idea of not having animals around me, I went looking for suitable replacements. I found little foxes or the chance of transforming little girls into foxes, which is an equally lovely idea. When I heard it for the first time, it caught my attention and I never forgot it and that makes it a very good name. When choosing a name for a project, a company, a dream, you can not fall into the vulgar. We must take risks and be as original as possible. Today I needed to bring some color and joy to Wonderland and sothe French brand of clothing BodeBo came to my mind. More color, movement and joy is almost impossible. I found this brand in this vast storefront that is Pinterest. A phot of a girl wearing the most wonderful leggings caught my attention. They were so happy with their irreverent colors and crazy patterns, that I could not resist the temptation to find out a bit more about the creators of such fun. It made me remember the world of Pipi Longstocking which I always loved. First I found the brand at an online shop called Line + Liv. Ontem iniciei uma caça a boas ideias para a Páscoa e, embora andasse à procura de ovos, acabei foi por encontrar alguns coelhos. Eu gosto muito de coelhos e de tudo o que se inspira neles. Tem outro vestido com um burro que é também um amor, mas achei que o coelho era mais apropiado para esta altura do ano. E, por fim, os mais fofos-e-lindos-sapatos-com-orelhas-de-coelho do mundo e ainda por cima dourados. São da Seed Heritage. Estas foram as três peças coelho que mais amei, pelo menos por agora. Até à Páscoa ainda tenho muito tempo para me apaixonar por outras ideias e produtos.
Yesterday I began hunting good ideas for Easter and, although I was looking for eggs, I ende up finding bunnies. I really like rabbits and everything that inspires them. I like jackets with rabbit ears like this one from Little Goodall, a brand that sells their products on Etsy. It's called Honey Bunny and, despite being a winter coat, I had to show it in Lálá Wonderland. A Wonderland without white rabbits is not Wonderland. I also found a most wonderful and very colorful dress from H & M with an irresistible picture of rabbit with pink bow. They have another dress with a donkey which is also lovely, but I thought the rabbit was more suitable for this time of the year. Finally, I found the cutest and most beautiful shoes-with-rabbit-ears and, as if that wasn't enough, they are gold. On sale at Heritage Seed. These were the three most lovely rabbit pieces that I found... at least for now. Until Easter there's still plenty of time to fall in love with other ideas and products.

Foi em 1909, que Sonora se lembrou de criar um dia dedicado aos pais, uma ideia muito recebida e que depressa se difundiu, acabando por ser oficializada por Nixon, em 1972. Nos Estados Unidos celebra-se em Junho, mas cá em Portugal hoje é o grande dia. O dia de todos os pais, esses super herois por quem sentimos tanta admiração. For me every day is father's day or shoulb be a official day of all those who are special to us. Our personal Super Heroes. May today be a wonderful day to them all, without exception. However, in Portugal, today is Father's Day, a day which was created by Sonora Luise, in 1909. Sonora had an immense admiration for her father, a man who was forced to raise 6 children alone when his wife died giving birth to their sixth child. Sonora helped him along the way and later on she wished to create a day dedicated to this man she loved so much. The idea became popular and embraced across the nation and in 1972, President Nixon made it official. In the United States it is celebrated in June, but here in Portugal today is the big day. The day of all dads, these super heroes for whom we feel such admiration. Gardens that each day become more and more beautiful thanks to Spring. Naturally, when I saw this hat for babies, I could not resist sharing it. Podia ser o título de uma história, tipo aquelas da Anita que tanto me fascinavam quando era pequena, mas não é. Venho apenas partilhar o meu amor incondicional pelos carrosseis. Os antigos, como o que há Jardim Zoológico de Lisboa, cheio de cavalinhos e outros animais primorosamente talhados e pintados com cores mágicas. Aqueles cheios de luzinhas hispnotizantes que durante algum tempo nos levam para um fantasia de encantos mil. Uma espécie de Wonderland. Um dia li nos Capitães da Areia, essa maravilhosa história sobre os meninos de rua de Salvador, contada por Jorge Amado, uma passagem sobre a magia que um velho carrossel conseguiu exercer sobre estes meninos tão pouco habituados a fantasias ou brincadeiras de criança e que eu vou agora partilhar: "No começo da noite caiu uma carga de água. Também as nuvens pretas logo depois desapareceram do céu e as estrelas brilharam, brilhou também a lua cheia. Pela madrugada, os Capitães da Areia vieram. O Sem-Pernas botou o motor para trabalhar. E eles esqueceram que não eram iguais às demais crianças, esqueceram que não tinham lar, nem pai, nem mãe, que viviam de furto como homens, que era temidos na cidade como ladrões. Esqueceram as palavras da velha de lorgnon. Esqueceram tudo e foram iguais a todas as crianças, cavalgando os ginetes do carrossel, girando com as luzes. As estrelas brilhavam, brilhava a lua cheia. Mas, mais que tudo, brilhavam na noite da Bahia as luzes azuis, verdes, amarelas, vermelhas, do Grande Carrossel Japonês". Esta é uma breve passagem, mas o velho carrossel é responsável por um capítulos inteiro. Um capítulo encantador como o próprio carrossel. Por tudo isto, eu amo os carrosseis e tudo o que tenha um carrossel, como por exemplo a marca de roupa francesa chamada Le Carrousel. Mais uma história encantadora de uma mãe que se inspira nas voltas e contravoltas dos seus quatro filhos para criar uma marca. It could be the title of a story, like those of a girl called Anita that used to fascinated me when I was little, but it isn't. I just wish to share my my unconditional love for carousels. The old one's, with their of horses and other animals intricately carved and painted with the most magical colors. Those filled with hypnotizing lights capable of, for a very short period of time, transporting us into a fantasy land, an imaginary world. A kind of Wonderland. One day I read in "Caitães da Areia" (Capitains of the Sand), this wonderful story about street children in Salvador, so beautifully written by Jorge Amado, a passage about how an old carousel manage to give to these boys, so little accustomed to love and tenderness, the feeling of being like other children. I have to share it with you: "In the early evening it rained. Also the black clouds soon after disappeared from the sky and the stars shone, the full moon shone too. At dawn, the Captains of the Sand came. Sem-Pernas put the engine to work. And they forgot they were not like other children, they forgot they didn't have a home, no father, no mother, that they lived as men of the theft, thet they were feared in town like thieves. They forgot the words of the old lady with the lorgnon. They forgot everything and were equal to all children riding the mounts on the carrousel, spinning with the lights. The stars were shining, the full moon shone. But more then anything, in the Bahia night, the blue, green, yellow and red lights of the Great Japanese Carousel were shinning" (sorry if the translation is not the best). This is a brief passage, but the old carousel is responsible for an entire chapter. A charming chapter as the carousel itself. For all this, I love carrousels and everything that has to do with them, such as the French clothing brand called Le Carrousel.
